About HeatX

Application engineering and new sanitary heat exchangers, sized for the duty and built to the hygiene class.

Heat Transfer Is What We Do

HeatX designs, sizes and sells heat exchangers for industrial and commercial process duty. SanitaryExchangers.com is the part of that work where the product is something people will eat, drink or inject: milk, juice, wort, sauces, purified water, bioreactor media. Here the exchanger has to move heat and stay clean, and both halves get engineered.

HeatX is the authorized distributor and factory representative for the sanitary shell and tube, plate and frame, tube-in-tube, evaporator and condenser lines on this site. That means the sizing, the selection, the pricing and the follow-through come from one application engineering group that works on these units every day.

The site is written so a process, plant or QA engineer can get from a duty to a sized recommendation before asking for a price. When you are ready, there are two ways out: get a price, or talk to an application specialist.

Who We Serve

Dairies running HTST and UHT lines, food and beverage plants heating and cooling juice, sauces, liquid egg and edible oils, breweries and distilleries, and pharmaceutical and biotech sites that need WFI, purified water, point-of-use cooling and bioreactor temperature control. Buyers are usually process, plant or QA engineers who think in hygiene class and application first and catalog family second.

What We Supply

New sanitary heat exchangers only: shell and tube in straight-tube, U-tube and double tubesheet form; gasketed, double-wall and wide-gap plate and frame; single, multi and corrugated tube-in-tube; and sanitary evaporators, vapor condensers and clean steam generators. Product contact is 304L or 316L with polished or electropolished finishes, tri-clamp connections, full drainability, and CIP or SIP as the duty requires.

How We Work

Every request starts with the duty, not a model number. We ask for the fluids, the flows, the temperatures, the viscosity, the hygiene class and the utility, then size the unit, select the construction and return a price with a drawing. If a fact is missing we ask; if a spec is unusual we say what it does to the price and lead time before you commit.

Standards We Build To

3-A Sanitary Standards for dairy and food, ASME BPE for pharmaceutical and biotech product contact, and food-grade drainable construction where a mark is not required. Pressure-retaining parts carry ASME Section VIII, TEMA, PED or CRN as the installation specifies, with material certs and traceability packages available on every order.

A sanitary exchanger that is the right size but the wrong hygiene class fails its first audit. We size for both.

Where to Start

If you know the product and the flow, go to Sizing & Selection and follow the four steps; they end with a quote form that already carries the facts needed to price the job. If you know the application but not the construction, start in Applications, find your process, and each page names the constructions that fit it and why.

If you are replacing an existing exchanger, the Replace Your Exchanger pages explain how to match by nameplate, by dimensions and connections, or by sending us what you have. And if you would rather talk first, call 1-805-484-2992 or email Sales@HeatX.com, 8am to 5pm.
