The form below asks for the six facts that size a sanitary heat exchanger. Fill in what you know; leave the rest blank and say so in the notes. An application engineer reviews every request and calls or emails if anything is missing before a price goes out.
Replacing an existing unit? Put the nameplate data and the connection sizes in the notes and we will match it or offer a sized alternative.
A request with these items prices without a phone call. A request missing two or three of them still gets a reply; it just starts with questions.
The duty comes first: mass flow times specific heat times temperature change on the product side, checked against the utility side so the two agree. Then the log mean temperature difference, corrected for the pass arrangement, tells us how much surface the duty needs at the coefficient each construction can actually deliver on your product.
Viscosity, particulates and the hygiene class pick the construction, and only then does a specific unit get selected. We check pressure drop on both sides against what your pumps and utility can give, confirm the product-side velocity is high enough to keep the surface clean between CIP cycles, and size the unit with a fouling allowance appropriate to the product rather than a generic one.
What you receive is a sized selection with the surface, the pressure drops and the outlet temperatures shown, a price, and a dimensional drawing with connection sizes and locations.
How a Quote Moves
Submit the form, or email the same facts to Sales@HeatX.com with any existing drawing or nameplate photo attached.
An application engineer runs the duty, picks the construction and selects a unit. If anything is unclear we call before anything is priced.
The quote shows the selection, performance, price, lead time and a dimensional drawing so it can be checked against the installation.
On order the unit is built new to the quoted specification, tested, documented and shipped with the certificates the quote listed.
