Description
The 872O40F20C-30430T2 is a Sanitary shell and tube, O-ring head design, two-pass heat exchanger built for steam-to-water duty. The unit has a 8" diameter x 72" long shell with an all 304 stainless steel tube side and 3" tri-clamp process connections; on the shell side the steam inlet is 4" and the condensate outlet is 2". Heat transfer surface is 54 sq ft. The unit handles a range of temperatures and flow rates; under standard conditions with 50 PSI steam, a water flow of 120 GPM gives a temperature rise of about 60°F per pass. The matching spare tube bundle is 340025-RE.
